We missed you all at the cabin this weekend but we didn't let that stop us from having a good time. The Burton's went up Thursday night and it was so nice because no one was up there. It was pleasant and peaceful and perfect. We came back from a walk that evening to find four doe and one fawn hanging out by the cabin around the fire pit. So neat! Friday morning we went on a nice little hike up the Abe's Lake trail. We were excited when Grandma and Grandpa came up that evening and spent the rest of the time with us. On the way out, Saturday evening, we made a quick stop up to Yellow Lake and on the drive home Porter kept asking to go back to the cabin. He had a great time! Here's a few pics...

ReplyDeleteThose Burton's are all so photogenic. Great pics! We sure did miss out. Although, wasn't it your anniversary? Maybe you enjoyed the time ALONE. Happy Anniversary all you folk married in August. The month of birthdays and marriages, I'd say!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the baby bump!?! I don't even see anything, it still looks flat! You will be shocked when you see how far out my big old belly has gotten. Everyone keeps telling me how big I am...as if I didn't know. Trust me, I know! :) Can't wait for you and mom and Po to visit! Porters hair has sure grown, it is so cute!
