Sawyer's party Day!

We went with the 4th of July theme, obviously! See anything odd about this picture?? 

You won't believe how lucky we got...it looks like perfect weather above, but an hour before the party stared it got dark, cold, super windy and then started pouring!! Ahhhhhhhh! All my decor was blowing off! Patio cushions were getting soaked.  Everything we had planned was outside! In moments like these all you can do is pray, so thats what I did! And it worked! :) About 10 minutes before the party, the sun came out and it was beautiful. Then as the last guest was leaving it started sprinkling again. What a perfect window, phew!!

My big 5 year old! He gives the best hugs and most of the time melts our hearts, but can throw a mean tantrum like no one else. Haha!

The cake I threw together with very limited time. EEK!  First time working with fondant!!  It was awesome, will definitely use a lot more now.   

Horse rides were the  highlight, everyone wanted a second ride, but we ran out of time.
