Happy Homer Halloween! The kids love this holiday. Hopefully it was memory-making for them! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for coming...we loved having you! I asked Hailey today if she remembered who came last night...she said, "papa, gamma, and daddy." Her favorites! I should have had Tyler in the picture. He was the coach! That's how I sneak him into dressing up...he can just wear normal clothes and be a coach! I am always too busy getting kids costumes that I forget about dressing up myself. Maybe next year! You all look fabulous!

Fall Break Cabin Trip

Here is our little cabin group. Every season is so different and beautiful in its own way. So glad we can share the adventures, memory making and the awes of exploring nature with our kids. We love the cabin!

I wasn't exaggerating when I said this was the best day EVER, it truly was!! Thank you for all playing a special part on such a memorable occasion.  It meant the world to us to have you all here .  Can't tell you how many times I  had joyful tears in my eyes , I felt the spirit so strong all day! This is what eternal families is all about!  So sad  the weekend  had to come to an end, but look forward to many more precious moments like these.  Much love! We missed you Homer's!

Sawyer's party Day!

We went with the 4th of July theme, obviously! See anything odd about this picture?? 

You won't believe how lucky we got...it looks like perfect weather above, but an hour before the party stared it got dark, cold, super windy and then started pouring!! Ahhhhhhhh! All my decor was blowing off! Patio cushions were getting soaked.  Everything we had planned was outside! In moments like these all you can do is pray, so thats what I did! And it worked! :) About 10 minutes before the party, the sun came out and it was beautiful. Then as the last guest was leaving it started sprinkling again. What a perfect window, phew!!

My big 5 year old! He gives the best hugs and most of the time melts our hearts, but can throw a mean tantrum like no one else. Haha!

The cake I threw together with very limited time. EEK!  First time working with fondant!!  It was awesome, will definitely use a lot more now.   

Horse rides were the  highlight, everyone wanted a second ride, but we ran out of time.
