Ok family I have something for all of you to try. I have been helping out with some interviewing and hiring at work and one of the questions they ask is how many words per minute they can type. So I got wondering 'what is a fast number for words per minute' and 'how many words per minute can I type'? So I found a webpage and tried it out and it was actually really fun to try and beat my score several times. So I thought I would share it and we could have a little family contest. Blake's B-day Poem

Blake is thoughtful, humble and smart.
He is always willing to do his part.

He is clever and patient, fun-loving and strong.
Never does he hesitate to admit when he is wrong.

His head of red hair, we'd never make fun.
He works in the same building as President Monson.

To work he goes wearing a very fine suit,
Looking so handsome, as he brings home the loot.

He is avidly looking for a new home,
A safe place for Porter, hopefully one made of foam.

A snow mobile is his ride of choice.
And we all admire his very deep voice.

Yes, we adore our dear Blake through and through,
Right down to his red hair and eyes of blue.

We got him two pair. One pair are black. These are his "panther"  glasses. The other pair are black and orange. These are his "tiger" glasses. Everything is associated with animals with him. His new look adds to his sophistication! He really does look cute.

First Time

My first time canning all by my self. Mom gave me instructions of how to make jam. It wasn't too difficult. I just hope it turns out. We can learn so much from mom's many abilities and knowledge. Thanks mom.

Spencer's New Glasses

FACES

Sawyer wanted a dinosaur face. It' hard to tell what it is because he smudged off parts of it. When he first saw himself in the mirror, he was open-mouthed shocked and speechless. We thought he was going to explode in tears. He probably thought his face would permanently be like that. 

Mr. Tough guy! Although, when uncle Tyson asked him to show his muscles. He said, with his head down and sad face "I don't have any, I just have sticks."   Maybe, we need to stop calling him, "sack of sticks"!  :)

Finally the Lewis'

Not much going on with us, nothing as exciting as losing teeth or getting a new car but we figured it was time that we posted something about ourselves. The picture was taken at the Lady Antebellum concert we went to (Blake I know you are jealous). It was so much fun. Ty always stresses because my birthday is so close to Christmas that he is afraid he wont be able to think of anything to get me but he always surprises me. It was perfect. Ty is taking some online classes to start a new work en devour. He has really been enjoying them, though it takes up a lot of his free time. At work they are looking to do a lot of hiring and have asked for me to help out with finding the right candidates, so that has been interesting. I finally get to write my first help wanted add! Yes that is something I have always dreamed of doing! haha We are getting hit will a huge storm. It started on Wed and has not stopped and it is now Sat. That is what happens when the saints get together to fast. Heather I believe you are getting quite the amount of snow out there too. Your faith is greater than the whole state of Utah combined. Maybe you are just being prepared for Montana. We are getting ready for a trip down to Vegas in a few weeks. Ty worked so hard in Nov that his boss gave him a free trip so we are going down to visit Ty's brother and enjoy the warmth! If anyone knows of anything fun to do there let us know.
